Elisa Tamez Rosales serves as LULAC District 15 Director and previously served as LULAC National Vice President for Women, where she helped strengthen women's leadership and civic engagement across the organization. A longtime civil rights advocate and community leader, she has dedicated decades of service to advancing educational opportunity, leadership development, and community empowerment throughout Texas and the nation.
Throughout her years with LULAC, Rosales has held leadership positions at the local, district, state, and national levels, helping expand the organization's reach while mentoring new generations of Latino leaders. She has been a strong advocate for educational achievement, civic participation, and creating pathways for women and young people to assume leadership roles within their communities.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to service, Rosales has helped build partnerships that advance LULAC's mission of protecting civil rights and expanding opportunity for all. Her career reflects a simple belief: strong communities are built when people invest in education, leadership, and one another, creating opportunities that last for generations.
