About me
Christopher Delafuente serves as Community Education Manager at Corazón San Antonio, where he leads education, outreach, and community engagement efforts across Region 8. Drawing on both lived experience and professional expertise, he works to expand access to harm reduction services, overdose prevention education, and critical community resources throughout South Texas.
Having overcome significant challenges in his youth, including substance use, homelessness, and involvement with the criminal justice system, Christopher is committed to helping others recognize their potential, build resilience, and find hope during difficult times. He believes that healing and lasting change are possible when people are met with compassion, opportunity, and support.
Christopher is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Psychology while continuing his work as an advocate for underserved communities. He is dedicated to empowering young people to overcome obstacles, pursue their goals, and create meaningful change in their lives and communities.
