About me
Martin Saenz is a dedicated advocate for LGBTQIA+ and Latino communities and serves as Deputy Director for LGBTQIA+ Affairs for North Texas LULAC District III. A longtime leader within LULAC, he was a founding member of the LULAC Lambdas and currently serves as President of the LULAC Rainbow Council in Dallas, helping expand the organization's commitment to inclusion and ensuring LGBTQIA+ Latinos have a strong voice within the nation's oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization.
Throughout his leadership, Saenz has worked to build bridges between the Latino and LGBTQIA+ communities, creating partnerships, safe spaces, and opportunities for greater civic engagement. He has been a consistent advocate for policies and programs that promote dignity, equality, and full participation for all members of the community, recognizing that the fight for civil rights must include everyone.
His work reflects a simple belief: no one should have to choose between their identity and their community. Through coalition building, advocacy, and public service, Saenz continues to strengthen LULAC's mission and help build a future where every Latino, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, is welcomed, respected, and empowered to lead.
