LULAC Gives Back will take shape at the Fort Worth Convention Center with two clear efforts: a food donation sponsored by Tyson Foods to help feed families, and a book giveaway sponsored by AFT to put books in the hands of youth, families, and educators who need them. LULAC does this work year-round, in communities across the country. Here in Fort Worth, we do it again in full force.
The LULAC Youth Convening is built for teens who are ready to step up, speak out, and lead. Over a few powerful days, you’ll connect with other young leaders from across the country, learn from mentors who’ve been in your shoes, and gain real skills you can use in your school and community right away. If you’re ready to lead and make an impact now, this is where it starts.

This inaugural session sets the tone with a simple truth: the Latino experience has always been rooted in fearlessness, the decision to leave, to rebuild, and to reclaim what was taken. That same courage lives in this generation, ready to turn identity, culture, and pride into action and solutions. Hear directly from LULAC leaders who are investing in that future and step into your role in shaping what comes next.
Join LULAC National and the California Host Committee for the official Welcome Celebration as we celebrate 96 years of unwavering resilience, persistence, and hard work by LULAC members—not only in California, but across the United States. From desegregating public schools in Mendez v. Westminster (1947), to fighting Proposition 187 (1994), to aiding families affected by the 2025 wildfires, LULAC has stood strong in the face of adversity. This night, we celebrate that legacy—with live music, light refreshments, and unmistakable California style.
